An hour long anti-nuclear bore fest. Not really informative, not well made, just garbage. Don't bother
I'd hoped this would be a feature touching on the disaster - of which there is already a lot of material available - but spend the bulk of its time discussing the state of the cleanup, new safe confinement, effect on people and animals...
Instead it's an hour long anti-nuclear, absurdly biased rant. Filmed using cheap tricks to imply threat and terror and reusing the same footage time and again, it adds nothing to the legacy of Chernobyl & nothing to the discussion. It is an hour long diatribe against nuclear power with nothing to recommend it.
It doesn't even focus on Chernobyl, cutting back and forth to other radiological stories such as the salt mine at Asse, all in its quest to try and sell nuclear power as some kind of uncashed demon and unless we all live off grid as vegans we're doomed.
Do not waste your time on this pile.
(I made a nuclear based joke for those truly interested in the source material)

Spiced up with multiple scientific inaccuracies - and information that's just plain wrong.
Anti nuclear bias couldn't be more obvious.
Depicting Chernobyl exclusion zone as some dead zone - while in fact its the opposite, the fact theres no humans there made it beaming with wildlife.
Quoting casualty numbers that goes against official reports are just laughable unless backed by some evidence. And no evidence was given...
Fear of genetic deficiencies are just plain wrong - if one parent has defective gene the child inherits it from the other parent. That's how genetics work.
There are solutions for permanent storage of waste proposed - and its about reaching a bedrock, either by building a repository or making boreholes.
Rock formations that we know remained geologically stable for billions of years are common all over the globe. So why does the author claim there is no solution?
Claiming every single reactor has a potential of becoming the next Chernobyl is just plain stupid - no, the fact every single of these 400 power plant have containment structures around their reactors make quite a major difference, somehow this fact goes unmentioned...

Don't waste your time on this highly inaccurate film. I can't bring myself to even call it a documentary. It's low level trolling at best.
This "documentary" was frankly a pile of rubbish - all over the place in terms of reference with 50% based on the waste in Germany. I pushed to watching it to the end - and knowing the science of nuclear it's was clear to me this was made by a bunch of vegans idiots pushing their ideology wanting the world to live off the grid. Nuclear is the best things we have - but unfortunately there will be some sheeple watching this who will consume its content as fact and be scared witless without looking up the real science.. breeding more morons who protest against nuclear (as demonstrated by other people that reviewed this 5* as a good documentary pmsl)
