    Cute romance movie

Quite a nice, wholesome and emotional little drama. The characters are likeable and there is a little bit of a love triangle situation going on. Classical music is an integral part of the film, which is always delightful and inspiring and the scenery is also quite beautiful. I'm thankful that at least Japan still makes movies that touch you and have a soul.

Avengers Endgame was NOTHING compared to this movie

Avengers Endgame I think is just too much Hype because it's just standard Marvel Movies. also standard Holywood movies which lately get me so bored, since it's boring formula... You Lie in April is very Excellent movies, so different.. Very Good Story which makes Avengers Endgame really pale compared to this masterpiece... from superb music and storyline, very good acting performance... what a Wonderful storylne. Japan really did great!

Much better then the anime tbh...

This is my 3rd anime to real life movie and earlier on this year, I watched the anime. I honestly didn't like because I just felt that it made the characters unlikeable and I didn't like the animation either. However by watching it as real life movie at the end of 2018, it honestly made a difference to my liking. I found that this movie made me cry more of what the characters were going through and how it was presented well as a youth film. Yeah there is a bit of romance to it but you hardly see it in this film. I don't know about the animes version since I dropped it at a few episodes but it doesn't matter, I'm happy to say that this real life action was 10x better then it!

If you didn't like the anime version like myself, definately give yourself a second chance by watching this anime!

    Lame.

First of all, I have watched the anime version long before the movie. To me, this live-action adaptation is painfully very bad and lousy. Gosh, it was lame. I really hate the actress who portrayed Kaori. She made it seems like Kaori was an annoying girl: a real pain-in-the-ass. Which she really wasn't. You'll know what I'm talking about if you watched the anime.

    Hollywood mainstreamers, move on

The kind of movie you have to go outside of the United States to find, the kind of movie that catches U flat footed when U realize what is going on, and yet everything is right there in front of you.

Original script, very nice classic type music, acting is kind of accurate for the ages portrayed. The kind of movie you do not forget once you have seen it.

Clean movie in terms of drugs, language etc, and yet far more adult in its premise then almost all R rated movies out there

    Thank You Japan
