How the idea of the film came about:
One night, I witnessed an incident on a secluded ghat road where there were barely any lights even for the road to be seen. I and my friends where driving back in a car, when I saw an ambulance siren at a distance. On reaching close, I saw an ambulance driver trying to get an accident victim on-board. The victim's head was bleeding and the ambulance diver was all alone. When I inquired about the situation, the ambulance driver said he was returning home after many rescue operations and had to rush back to the hospital again to save the victim. In this moment, a thought struck me that what if the ambulance driver had chosen not to care and driven away ? Based on this, I imagined the protagonist of Sattvam - an ambulance driver who displays complete contrast to what the profession demands.
