Un mariage plus que parfait

The 2 leads are not appealing enough to lead a rom com. The story about a compensating groom going overboard on the wedding prep is a one joke thing that turns annoying fast.

This motion picture is supposed to be a comedy, however it failed to even make me smile. After the first 20 minutes I had to force myself to endure the remainder of it hoping I was wrong. You could call it stupidity, or silliness,or just plain dumb, but never comedy and certainly not romantic. I failed to find one redeeming quality and consider this movie a complete waste of time. The female lead lacked any personality. She seemed sad throughout the entire film. She maintains a long face. I was hoping he wouldn't marry her. Her character was very boring. She was a real downer.

But Darin Brooks has so much personality that I'm surprised he hasn't been picked up by the bigger studios. He has the zaniness of a young Jerry Lewis, and his comic timing is spot on, and is very attractive. Far superior to a lot of male stars that Hallmark have in their stable.

The film is typical of the Hallmark genre, not great, not awful, but watchable.

This film was weird for me. I think because the main male character acted like a little boy the whole time, like one of those films where an adult and a young kid get switched!?!?! And it wasn't that he acted like that only when he became "groomzilla" - he acted the part like this from the beginning, it was strange. While I did enjoy the story and parts of it were funny, I think it would've been way better for me had he played the part as a normal adult male that was a groomzilla. I think it is worth a watch, but cause of how he choose to act the part you aren't missing a whole lot if you skip this one in my opinion. On the other hand, the side couple's story was cute!
