Please see this movie. I was deeply moved and pulled in to this true story. You will leave having been impacted. A definite must see for all teenagers but I think everyone will relate on some level. This is an independent film so no major 'names' but more movies like this need to be seen and promoted. The actor who played William was amazing and he just draws you in with his performance. This story is about real people and their experiences...and the courage it must have taken for them to be willing to share their story is so inspiring.
Moving, well told story with multiple incredible intersections in people's lives, underscoring our interdependence on each other.
Such a great movie that has such a beautiful story! Get out and see it!
A movie that will engage the audience and touch the heart throughout. A true story that brings people a world a part together in an amazing way. A journey that changes the path of so many lives in a glorious way!
Having been to Rwanda and knowing a little history about the Hutu's , Tutsi's and the genocide, I felt a lot of this movie very deeply. The betrayal , sadness , hope ,abuse , brokenness and forgiveness in this movie was done so vividly that one would become , as I did, quite emotional while watching it. The movie depicted a lot of things too numerous to share in this brief post but the hope in humanity and the unlikely people that it came from was refreshing. In each of the families you see what really is important to them regardless of their circumstances . It is family . It doesn't matter if you're a refugee fleeing genocide or or wealthy man living in suburban Nashville. The most beautiful part of it all is the parallel between our brokenness as a result of sin and God's forgiveness to us through Jesus. I do believe you would thoroughly enjoy this. One of my favorite movies this year.
