A chilling glimpse into our digital future

I'm impressed by this sci-fi short, especially after learning how quickly it was made. It's a well-crafted film with strong emotional depth, and the acting is solid across the board.

Set in a dystopian near-future, the only way to escape reality is by uploading your consciousness to the cloud and continuing life as a digital entity in virtual reality. That's the difficult choice facing the couple in this story-but of course, there's a twist.

What makes it even more unsettling is how plausible the technology feels. "No Guarantee" presents a future that doesn't seem far-fetched at all, which makes its darker moments all the more chilling.
