Filmed on location in East Flanders in a historic farm where a downed US air crew was sheltered by the Flemish resistance in WWII. There are several actual crash sites of allied aircraft in the surrounding area, several of which have been thoroughly researched by the local resistance museum "De Patrijs '44".
