Mantostaan

#Mantostaan is an experimental movie, based on four short stories by #SaadatManto. All stories run parallel n all of them highlight the revulsions of partition. Theres a muslim father searching for his daughter. Theres another muslim father who is paralyzed, but still optimistic. There are two childhood friends who get separated. There is a sardarji couple where the lady feels betrayed by her paramour. The end product is not as impactful as desired, maybe because director Kazmi is not so experienced. But the effort needs to be encouraged. Rating 3/5.

The story is Very good the Cinematography along with location is very Good, but acting is what has been greatly Compromised. Which is too Visible and it does not allow you to get submerged into the Flim. It has Four story anthology.
