Don't Fall Asleep

I must say when I first saw the teaser for this my heart skipped a beat, then when I saw the film my jaw dropped and had goose bumps!! I am so thrilled with this film I watched 5 times the week it debuted!! Diandra brought a different yet refreshing side to the character of Nancy Thompson!! I literally feel her pain every time. To sum it up the cast was perfect, the direction on point, and to the rest of the wonderful and dedicated fans that helped bring this to life I thank you!!!

As a fan of horror movies starting from a very young age, the one thing I always wanted to do was make my own Nightmare film. Now, as an adult, I love to watch what other fans have done with that same ambition. I have always wanted to know what happened to the character of Nancy Thompson between the first and third movies and this film gives me a very satisfying answer to that question.

You can feel the passion and love that each person involved in this film has for the Nightmare series everytime they are on screen. So many great moments that fans will pick up on and the story is awesome. The music cues, the names of characters, all just come together so well and it makes this a must see for all Nightmare fans!

The fan film that opened my eyes to fan films entirely. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and Heather Langenkamp narrating? Wow! Kick ass! Great job, can't wait to see what they do next!

I have to say I was very cautious when I saw this come across my feed in facebook. So many films get it wrong. Don't Fall Asleep gets it right. In my opinion this could easily fit in as the second film of the series. Diandra Lazor is amazing in the role of Nancy Thompson. The other cast are just as equally talented. The character development shows that this is more than just a slap it together fan film. The greatest surprise is that it is narrated by Heather Langenkamp herself. That was the perfect touch. I have watched this five times and my biggest complaint is that I wish it was longer. This is a must see for any A Nightmare on Elm Street fan!
