I think there's about 20 minutes of actual film in this Camp Blood entry. As well as mining a lot of footage from the previous entry, this flick has more walking montages than Lord of the Rings.
At first I was wondering why there was so much filler at the beginning (our heroine goes cd shopping for 5+ minutes) but that sort of editing happens over and over.
I couldn't stop laughing at the bold choice to shoot at night in the woods with only the camera mounted light. They could have saved a lot of shooting time if they filmed the final 20 minutes in a blacked out room instead of on location.
The inept filmmaking is a joy to watch. And at 69 minutes, it is a nice way to spend 1/4 of an evening of movies.

As a sequel, the film has all proper elements. From the dialogue you get the vibe of which actors would fall under the blade of our killer clown. I was pointing out in my own review how the kids could have pooled money to get a couple of hotel rooms on the way to the concert.
Is this movie the same as the original three? No. It doesn't have to be Brad Sykes' work over and over.
Schuylar Craig was the star that shined, her reactions felt very genuine and she could carry herself well.
Dustin Ferguson is not a bad director, he just lacked funds for greater effects but I felt the DIY approach worked pretty easily and his camera equipment and crew has vastly improved over the years.

No I'm joking it's a piece of crap badly shot (the DP must have been the dumbest one in the trade, everything is overexposed or too dark), badly acted, made of at least 20% of footage from the previous movie and it's always the same laughable special effects.
I almost forgot the concert... no there isn't one, no way in a film like this, but the score is filled with music from a bargain basement Dokken sound-a-like group (no this wasn't shot in 1985 but in 2016!!!) as if things couldn't be worse...
Now to be positive about something... I was glad when the publicity on Tubi shown up every now and then.
1/10... anybody surprised?

Dustin Ferguson truly is this generation's Nick Millard. His films are dull, aimless, horrendously shot, pitifully edited and padded out to extreme lengths with stock footage from more impressive films. The difference is that while Millard used footage from his own films, Ferguson decides to ransack the work of real filmmakers like Mark Polonia and Dennis Devine.
This is the fourth in the Camp Blood series. While the previous instalments were imperfect but effectively fun low budget slasher movies, this one is a dismal, dreary affair with next to no plot, non-existent pacing and quite possibly the single worst villain ever committed to celluloid.
The only reason I give it two stars is because they play a really kick ass power metal song in the film and over the end credits. It's too good for this abysmal pile or garbage.
Wanna know the worst part? It's actually the best film I've seen from Ferguson. Let that sink in.

Ok this movie was just bad like really bad and I have a feeling it's not going to get any better in the film series.
