Durán, de la rue au ring

'I Am Durán' tell us a few great stories in a compelling and engaging way. If on one hand, you have the story of a boxing legend which many people may not be aware of, on the other hand, you also have the story of a country which was going though a difficult process and a figure like Roberto meant a lot to all Panamanians during that period. The interviewees cast is really incredible and it's astonishing the way how such great names in boxing talked about Roberto and his feats. Moreover, the great archive selection and the amazing soundtrack really help putting us in that era and to better understand how a sportsperson can have such a great impact on so many levels. This has definitely entered my favourite documentaries list.
