Saw the movie a few days back and the images are still quiet vivid in my mind. I attribute this to the wonderful direction by Suman Kittur and the amazing acting by all characters.
The movie is a screen adaptation of Poornachandra Tejaswi's novel by the same name and takes us back in time into the rural setting of Old Mysuru region.
The upheavals that take place in Kiragooru when politics enters the quiet village life, how social evils damage the delicate village fabric and the role ladies of Kiragooru play in setting things straight is humorously narrated and forms the main plot.
As the director, Suman Kittur has shown her brilliance in handling the subject.
Even though Shwetha Srivatsav, Achyuth Kumar and Kishore occupy much of the screen space, all other actors have lived their characters and leave a lasting impression.
The entire technical team has done a fabulous job.
Sadu Kokila's background music is a plus point for the movie.
I think the movie deserves great accolades.

Very nice story, story is taken from Novel by Poornachandra Tejaswi. Great direction by Suman Kittur. Film as well as story has high impact leading roles of village women. Initially and overall looks like a women oriented film. However, in depth it has many social messages and shows underlying Indian village problems silently, which should be known to every Indian. Every one from village will recall their memories, every one from city enjoys village view shown in the movie. Lots fun, very nice stunning dialogues. I have read the novel Kiragoorina Gayyaligalu by KP Poornachandra Tejswi, even after that I enjoyed the movie.
For one who has seen The Angry Indian Goddesses and Parched, I found that the ladies in this movie are as talented as any world class actresses. You should see the facial expressions of Shwetha Srivatsav and Sukrutha in the final 10 minutes of the movie The rest of the actors and actresses are no pass overs either. Even the bit players like Prakash Belavadi, S Narayan and Mandya Ramesh are well known actors and are a pleasure to watch in this movie Great photography, subtle humor, good background music and a reasonably taut script are the other positive attributes of this film Kudos to the entire crew and cast for bringing out a film that is a pleasure to watch.
