Root of Darkness is an homage to movies by our Swedish guru Ingmar Bergman. Gustav got the idea of making a horror like Evil Dead which should look like it was directed by Ingmar Bergman. Ingmar did a movie called Wolf Hour which is very similar to Evil Dead. Enjoy. The premiere is at STUFF Film Festival in Mexico October the 15-22.

1 hour movie that felt like it was 3 hours long.

The biggest problem with this movie is the camerawork almost every scene is shot with one camera angle. And the acting is horrible the main character has zero emotions. The monster was easily killed but you might say but the monster spread like zombies! But is not scary because nobody is scared of zombies and they are often easily killed in the books and movies they are in. And that is the reason why i give this movie one star it failed on every level.
