Like they took all bad ideas that never made it into big blockbusters,of similar content & called it a movie.
Did start out ok before her diagnosis change, than it became actually a terminal mess.
Any event in life changes you,but how the film approached it was horrible.. Shallow & so forth.
The main character wasn't all that likeable, don't feel a different actress could of helped the script.
Have seen the lead(Mia)in other things, where she was good.
I was hoping for more of a saving grace type ending, but instead was rather bland.
Than besides the cancer tribute, most decent part..
Unfortunately came the closing song, which felt went on.. Forever!
If you are bored, check it out.
It's an interesting premise. A teenage girl who was expecting to die soon from cancer is suddenly told that she's in remission, and can look forward to many years of adulthood. Likewise, I don't have a problem with a protagonist trying to figure out how to adjust to a complete change in her plans. It turns out that she's more scared of living than she was of dying. The movie has a good message about living life, instead of just waiting for death.
However, the movie has a very unlikable protagonist. She keeps milking the cancer to get special treatment. That is disgusting behavior. My brother's wife lost her sister to bone cancer, and I wouldn't dare show this movie to her. Furthermore, the way Hope treats her friends is abhorrent. I know that a story needs a low point, but it doesn't have to result from the main character being a bratty jerk.
She changes, though. She finds a badly needed new friend, who helps her get her life together. Friendship is a powerful thing, and a single friend can make a huge difference in someone's life.

This movie is terrible; Like actually the worst!
Imagine if an eleven year old tried to rewrite The Fault in our stars?
The acting: terrible, Writing; Pitiful- Definitely would not recommend.
The movie may have worked if the audience could have sympathised with the protagonist- Hope (Yes, This joke was used consistently throughout the movie). However the poor acting overall led to me low-key wishing our dear friend Hope was run over with a truck. Multiple times.
The only time I smiled was when the Australian boyfriend was introduced because his accent was so utterly terrible, My natural instinct was to run away and live a new life as a llama farmer in nepal or smile in blissful unawareness- I chose the latter.

A fault in our stars wanna be! Acting, writing, character development is as bad as a rotten tomato. I just cannot even understand why they make this kind of movies, it just annoys me.
The acting was so so & a really pedestrian storyline besides, I don't think so. Another propaganda for the billion $ healthcare machine. Chemo is the biggest lie ever devised. It does NOTHING to cure cancer in fact it makes you too weak to fight it!! Natural, organic supplements are the only way to shrink the tumors. Family members have bought into the lie that chemo works & paid the ultimate price while I know people that didn't fall into that trap that are still alive today. Don't believe the lies!!
