La Reine des neiges: Joyeuses fêtes avec Olaf

Just as frozen, lovely warm beautiful funny story!

I know I'm in the minority here but I don't really understand why people are mad about this short. I went into Coco not knowing this was the short ahead of it and I enjoyed the whole thing. Obviously people are entitled to their own opinions but I found this inoffensive and sweet like the rest of Frozen. It came a few years after the over saturation so it wasn't annoying to me. Also I didn't even realize how long the short was, it felt normal short length for me (10 minutes max).

Olaf and Sven set off on an adventure to discover many of the townspeople's family traditions at Christmas in an effort to assist the sisters Anna and Elsa who were seperated for so many of their past lives have no recollection of their own family traditions.

This short animated film is filled with soft and sweet songs sung wonderfully by Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell. As Olaf and Sven go door to door gathering ideas as well as personal gifts from many of the townspeople they ask about family traditions, they finally head back home to Elsa and Anna to present them with a carriage filled with wonderful Christmas traditions.

As is typical of the clumsy Olaf and Sven an unexpected accident occurs while they are headed on their way back home and while transporting their sleigh filled to the brim with the townspeople's gifts. All is not lost though as the Christmas spirit proves to be much stronger than Olaf and Sven's expected clumsiness.

A happy ending and a Merry Christmas is wished upon the audience by the characters in Olaf's Frozen adventure.

An inviting 8 out of 10 animated Christmas adventure.

Olaf the snowman goes in search of Christmas traditions to cheer up Elsa and Anna.

Have no fear that this is merely a cash-in for the Frozen franchise. They got the whole cast back, the animation is just as good, the joke count is the same and the songs are good.

Twenty minute full-of-cheer story well worth the price when you see it in the bargain tub.

I liked, '..and you dress up its corpse with candles.'

But seriously, ignore them, this short doesn't deserve it. Just because it was before Coco and it was 20 minutes long doesn't make it a bad short. It was a fun watch, songs were nice and catchy, and it almost made me tear up. Really recommend watching this if you've watched the first movie.
