That cheap soviet TV show became a signifant part of the soviet culture and has big influence to the modern movies and crime shows in Russia.
Line from sound track "our duty is danger and difficult" became a notable idiom in language.
Most of the show made in cheap mode. They use real police statiions. And police were working during show. So a lot of people on background are not actors, they are just a regular employees who are doing their job. Sometimes you can see just a regular person in the show who tell you something. Like an art expert in the episode #14 who has a lot of troubles in front of camera :)
But despite the fact of the cheapest production most of the stories are complex and nice. And due to extreme pupularity of show there are a lot of top stars in the movie. Like Krarchensev is in e14.
Most of start cast are not famous as an movie actors, but they are great theater actors. So sometimes it looks like a typical soviet "tv play".
If you are a Stanislavsky hater or don't like soviet style of movies do not watch this! But if you are brave enough give it a chance (try e14 first).
