    incredibly haunting

This stuck with me, it reminded me of my grandmother who was also terminally ill.

Look Up Here I'm In Heaven

To me this is one of the greatest songs ever written, but then again it's by one of the greatest musical artists to ever grace this planet. The song draws the listener in with a beautiful, haunting voice. The entire album is full of intense songs that are so unique, it's a masterpiece that only David Bowie could pull off. The video is incredibly intense I've seen people review it for the first time and many were left speechless the common words they use are incredible and masterpiece and many said they didn't expect that. That sums Bowie up, always expect the unexpected. So if you want to hear real music by a real artist who was on his death bed check out this beautiful song and video.

    Incredibly haunting and symbolic

If you haven't read up on all the symbolism in this music video, do. It's chock full. He knew he was dying, and this album was a farewell letter to his fans. Nobody else that I can think of would look death in the face, and write about it. That took some guts. His music has always had its own flare and the Blackstar album is no exception. This piece is particularly haunting, but I think in a way he was telling us not to be sad. "Look, I'm in heaven". He made his peace with what was about to happen, and he used his incredible voice to gave us one last spectacle to tell us all goodbye. What a legend.

    • Trivia
David Bowie already knew that he was dying of cancer, when he filmed this music video in November of 2015. That's why music video depicts him on a death bed and entering the closet in the end (which symbolizes coffin).
