Good For What It Is

JFK Assassination 1st Person Witnesses (2013)

This documentary has an obvious low-budget and only clocks in at 44 minutes but if you're a Kennedy assassination buff then you'll probably want to watch it as we get interviews with three people who were actual witnesses that day in Dallas.

Beverly Oliver was close to the Kennedy car when the shots were fired. James Tague was standing in front of where the car was when the shots rang out and is credited by many as being the man who caused the Warren Report to change their original story. Then there's Dr. Robert McClelland who was one of the doctors who tried to save Kennedy's life at the hospital.

If you're familiar with the assassination and the various conspiracies then I'm sure you'll recognize these three names. This documentary certainly isn't anything ground-breaking and it doesn't feature any "new" evidence but if you enjoy hearing these stories then you'll probably enjoy this. The interviews are nice or at least entertaining enough since these people are actually witnesses.

As I said, the running time is short and the quality is a little mixed but it's the interviews that are most important. There are some silly things done throughout including some bad sound effects and rather stupid watermelons exploding to imply Kennedy's head but outside of this the film is worth watching.
