Very decent movie, and nicely made. This was successful in interleaving the beautiful culture of Mithila, and the problems that has crippled this region. If you are a Maithil you will love the movie and instantly feel the urge to do something for your motherland. At the same time, watching such a well made movie in Maithili language will make you proud.

Amazing movie in regional language, great acting, and beautiful cast.

Exhilarating experience watching our culture with this first Maithili movie with everything that's talking about the in-depth of Mithilanchal, its rituals, Mithila paintings, paag, the sweetness of Maithili, local maithili songs, paan and Makhan. Got nostalgic while watching the movie and was taken back to my childhood when we used to visit our village on every chhath. It was a peculiar experience that I had had while listening to the sounds of the birds, floor mill, cattle's sound in the background, I could recall smell of my village at the time of chhath. Above all, this has ignited the dream within me to go back to my Mithila and devote my life for its nourishment. As the character Maithili said ," You need courage to stay in the village." Hope that Kranti which has been provoked by the kranti of Kranti babu will inspire many others. Loved the acting of every character. Kranti babu, lots of blessings. The movie tells the various emotions of mithilanchal and it's changing characteristics. Powerful music, performances by all, direction script which all bring up a fantastic family drama.

It is a youthful film - well written story, good songs, superb acting etc makes this film a classic.
