Shaun-the-sheep connives to bring three incorrigible llamas to the farm, to his (and everyone else's) regret. The semi-voiceless film seems to be just an extended episode of the titular ovine's TV show with a rudimentary plot and a lot of sight gags. While fun and well made, the cleverness of Aardman Animations' 'Wallace and Gromit' series (or even the first 'Shaun the Sheep' movie (2015)), is missing.
I recently watched "Shaun The Sheep: The Farmers Llamas" and I have to say, it was a delightful experience! This charming short film, which runs a little over 20 minutes, really captures the essence of what makes Shaun and the gang so lovable. The animation is as charming as ever, with that unique stop-motion style that Aardman is known for.
The story revolves around Shaun trying to impress the Farmer and, of course, things don't go exactly as planned. The addition of llamas adds a hilarious twist, and their antics are genuinely funny. I found myself chuckling at the clever little moments throughout the film.
The character expressions are spot on, conveying so much emotion without any dialogue, which is pretty impressive! The pacing is just right, keeping you engaged the whole time. If you enjoyed the previous Shaun the Sheep installments, you'll likely appreciate this one, too.
Overall, I'd give it a 9 out of 10. It's a fun and lighthearted watch for both kids and adults, providing plenty of laughs and a heartwarming message. Definitely a perfect pick for a cozy family movie night!

Oh those naughty llamas! My baby loves this and seems to be hypnotised like the llamas!
The Farmer and Bitzer head for the Country Fair with stowaway Shaun the Sheep. At the fair, three llamas are up for auction. They are entranced by playing a pan flute, but goes crazy when the music stops. Shaun does the Farmer dirty and fakes his winning bid. The llamas break the pan flute and wreck havoc along with Shaun. The other sheep are not too happy.
This is a simple Aardman adventure. Shaun is being a mischievous sheep. The llamas are good chaos agents. I like the pan flute. Shaun learns a lesson and in the end, he saves the day. It wraps up nicely. It's a nice thirty minutes special.

It is another brilliant Shaun the Sheep short, which is yet again funny and enjoyable for all the family. The short has many Easter egg clips, from other Aardman shorts, and other props from different Shaun the Sheep episodes. Plus this short is one funny one, but with a nice message hidden within, it may seem like a good idea at the beginning but it may not have been a good idea later on.
