    deep and devastating

Devastating documentary about Anthony Sowell, the unbelievably sleazy serial killer who had his way with Cleveland because the police didn't care to spend the time and energy to investigate missing women who were drug addicts, sex workers, poor, of color...they didn't stand a chance in that environment and Sowell knew it. He stashed the women's bodies all over his filthy house, holding his whole neighborhood hostage to the nasty smell emanating from his messed-up house. One of his victims, Vanessa Gay, who is a survivor is so awesome in her testimony and in her outlook. She faces odds I could never imagine and is impressive. The movie is well written, well-paced and engrossing to the end.

    I'm not into easily moved

I've not waste my time reading anything about this.

All the women (and the pastor) who spoke touched me deeply.

I'm not going to get into anything about this documentary other than to say all the people who spoke - I actually teared up. These people - the women who suffered the horrors, and those who were in this neighbourhood - I can't put it into simplistic words other than I've now compassion, understanding for them than many people I know.

I just wanted to hug each one of them.

This is a unique documentary able the killings which took place in a drug-riddled area of Ohio.

    Heart-wrenching, insightful, and heroic

I applaud these women for having the strength to share all they went through from beginning to end: additionally, the neighbourhood residents and relatives provided a POV not usually shown in these cases.

All of those that managed to dig themselves out of the negative lifestyles to become all they can and more is a part of the story that is most encouraging. I doubt many people would be able to endure what these survivors have been through.

I highly recommend this watch to anyone that is a aficionado of true crime. I had read a book about this case previously but learned much more watching this movie.

Thank you for telling THEIR STORIES

This touched the depths of my soul. Want the families to know their Loved Ones are NOT garbage. The store owner is as guilty as the perp. We have a responsibly to each other. Wow. If you are not part of the solution,(lifting a fallen, fellow Human Being) you ARE the problem.

    A masterpiece

Warning: this is the only true crime documentary which I have watched for 5 times, and it's strange that it is a kind of hidden gem, it's a frightening story of a monster who took advantage of the most vulnerable women, and it is the story of a heroic brave woman who confronted her trauma and fear and was the star witness, the details of her abduction and the place where this monster live is terrifying.
