Burn in Hell is a movie that has the subject of infidelity at its core. This is my second Jarno Lee Vinsencius movie. I loved this short film, even more than Darkness Falls(2016). Jarno Lee Vinsencius is a sensational director & will make amazing feature films, one day. I can't wait for his upcoming feature film, Evil Rising(2016). Each of his short films, have a different story & are as engaging as the previous one. What is even more admirable is that, Vinsencius writes, records the sound, shoots, edits, produces & directs all his movies, by himself. The climax at the end of the film, will leave you speechless. The performances by Demis Tzivis & Elin Sjostedt are flawless. Burn in Hell is a must watch!
Daniel (Demis Tzivis) has been having an affair with Jessica. After his girlfriend Alicia (Elin Sjöstedt) finds the other woman's phone number while sorting out the washing, she confronts Daniel, forcing him to take drastic action.
Burn In Hell is an impressive short from independent Swedish director Jarno Lee Vinsencius (Darkness Falls). The plot is extremely simple, ending with a not-too-unpredictable twist; the real strength of the piece, however, lies not in the narrative but in the superb central performance from Tzivis, and in Vinsencius' masterful direction, smart editing and faultless cinematography. As horror shorts go, this is one of the best acted and most technically adept—I can't wait to see what Vincencius does with a feature length film

Daniel (Demis Tzivis) drags a plastic bag with a corpse wrapped inside through a wheat field to bury it in the middle of nowhere. Meanwhile, he recalls in flashbacks how he met his wife Alicia (Elin Sjöstedt); how she found a note with the phone of Jessica, with whom he was having a love affair; and how she disclosed her findings to him during the dinner. When Daniel returns to his car, he has a surprise.
"Burn in Hell" is another short by the filmmaker Jarno Lee Vinsencius, with a suspenseful story with an ambiguous ending. The concise screenplay associated to good performances and magnificent cinematography, camera work and edition, seem to be a trademark of this young director. Who was really buried only Jarno knows; but the face of Daniel gives a good hint. My vote is eight.

'BURN IN HELL': Four Stars (Out of Five)
Another short film, from Swedish filmmaker Jarno Lee Vinsencius. This one is 5-minutes long; and it tells the story of a man, forced to deal with the horrendous consequences of his wife learning he's been cheating on her. It was once again written, produced, edited, filmed and directed by Vinsencius. Demis Tzivis (who's starred in all of Vinsencius's other recent shorts) once again stars in the short film. I found this one to be equally as impressive as Vinsencius's other work.
The film begins with a man, Daniel (Tzivis), struggling to drag something through a large wheat field. It appears to be a corpse, wrapped in plastic, and it appears Daniel is taking it somewhere to bury. While Daniel also appears to be having a really hard time doing this (emotionally), he has several dramatic flashbacks; of the events leading up to this. They involve his wife (Elin Sjostedt) learning he was cheating on her.
Like Vinsencius's other film work; the short is beautifully shot, and edited, and Tzivis gives another great (emotionally charged) performance in it. I like how all of Vinsencius's films are completely different. They're all a little dark, and twisted (or some would say a lot), but in different creepy ways. I'm now especially excited to see Vinsencius's upcoming feature length film 'EVIL RISING'.
