Amazing story about actual use of ESP (remote viewing) in the U.S. and beyond

This is a great story that needs to be told about the use of remote viewing by U.S. (and Soviet) intelligence agencies both from a pure research angle and eventually to more practical applications. While the filmmaking itself may not meet the expectations of modern film viewers, the story and the people involved are remarkable. I found myself riveted to it from start to finish.

Highly recommended for people with a strong interest in ESP and paranormal abilities, but maybe it's not a great film for people with a casual interest who might prefer a riveting actual film. The pacing is slow, and the central character meets few of the criteria for a leading man in a mainstream movie. But even more critical viewers may appreciate the arc of the story and the revelations about paranormal research over a period of decades. The laughable but somehow predictable end of this era is the icing on the cake.

Great info, not so great editing.

I actually took a Remote Viewing course that Skip Atwater was involved in. Really nice guy and effective teacher.

Had a few RV instances that were way beyond co-incidence. Shocked me quite honestly, so I know this is a legit phenomenon.

Wish the presentation was a bit better as it is such an interesting story.

Science and Experimentation vs Fundamentalists in Religion and Politics

The movie presents an intriguing view into a previously classified area of intelligence gathering. Draw your own conclusions.

No matter what, you will be more educated about what is possible versus what is supposedly impossible. Believe what you will. And, if you are abnormally bold you might research the subject and try it yourself.

    what shall we believe in

First of all i dont think this was professionaly good enough production wise. its an extremely confusing presentaton of a national security problem(?), and the theme shifts and the person gallery flies back and forth and even inbetweeen, and when kgb, nsa, fbi, and cia enters the documentary story, its just a terrible blus of physics and psychics and scientists, that bend fork and can read between the enemies lines.

the grumpy old man loves the topic of parapsycholoical abilities, and i myself consider myself a person with '' warm hands'', at least my patients says so when doing the hair wash in the sink and doing the bed wound care. but its to blurry and unsteady images, and the story are so commited to confuse the viewer, and i still dont have a clue who to feel sorry for. i think it should have been awarded the top secret stamp till we all know a little bit more from the enemies side of the subject.

Old Guy Whines About His Wikipedia Page

So an old guy is really ticked off because he wasn't allowed to use the Wikipedia article about him as a vanity bio page. He's mad because the Wikipedia article focuses on his work in pseudoscience, rather than his work on lasers. In a documentary about pseudoscience. And he's known for being a figure in the world of pseudoscience, not lasers.

And he lies about why they removed the info he kept adding.

For one, there are no "Wikipedia Masters," lol. Wikipedia editors just need to follow the rules of Wikipedia.

Second, subjects of an article are not allowed to edit it.

Third, why in the world did they put this in the documentary? How embarrassing. It just makes him and the documentary creators look clueless and out-of-touch.

I guess the camera work is...fine. Production value is fine. Meh.
