BRILLIANT Acting and Thought Provoking Film!

There is no way you can watch this film and not think about it afterwards. It is suspenseful and keeps you guessing over and over. Andrew Kinsler's performance as Roy is fantastic and entirely convincing. He manages to go from blasé to almost hysterical and expresses each emotion in such a raw and natural manner which so many actors never quite achieve. After all, it is a one man show and takes incredible talent to keep us engaged and on edge from beginning to end.

    Visually Stunning

Twenty Twenty-Four may be the best independent film I've seen this year. The screenplay riffs ingeniously on dystopian material made famous by pioneers like Stanley Kubrick and Ridley Scott. Andrew Kinsler is remarkably relatable in his role as the scientist, especially considering that the only sidekicks he gets to play off are a talking computer and his own thoughts.

Above all, the cinematography is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Dark, moody and stylized, every scene is a parade of deliciously creative shots. Unlike most other indie films, Twenty Twenty-Four is tightly cut together and moves along well.

The dialogue feels a bit stilted at times and the slow-burn suspense may wear out some viewers, but Twenty-Twenty Four is an unusually strong indie. I recommend it.

    Awesome Performance

Twenty-Twenty-Four gives a masterful performance by Andrew Kinsler encapsulating a great range of emotions with his one man performance.

The cinematography was moody and realistic with its style and definitely sets its self apart from other sci-fi indie films

    I recommend it!

Got the makings of a cult classic

I'm not usually one for these types of films, independent, low budget and only one actor. Luckily for me the viewer it doesn't come across like this at all.

The main (only) actor Andrew Kinsler is an relatively unknown but he does a great job showing the progression of the character and the break down in emotion. The journey you witness with this futuristic character is relatable and believable.

The story also holds up, sure there are questions throughout and sometimes answered aren't supplied. I imagine it to almost be a pre-quel to the video game Fallout where people are sent into vaults in order to survive but answers come later and a good thriller is rare in modern cinema.

The visual affects are strong considering the budget they must of had and the only frustration is the interactive computer that types rather than speaks. It would flow much better if the AI had a voice.

Overall though a strong film which will probably pick up traction over the next few years

    Decent

It's a decent thriller maybe a little botched with some over-acting and some parts that drag a bit. I'm sure they would get back to the editing and just fix the pacing cuz it seems unequal to me. Still for something with a small budget like that, it's good work but just needs refining. Good job!
