Since IMDB has denied me, and in case my correction doesnt go through a second time, here is the real summary for this trailer, which everyone should know by now, so no need for spoiler alerts: Under a full moon, a beautiful woman sings a haunting song of olde. Geralt of Rivea, The Witcher, approaches her carefully, having taken up a bounty to hunt her. For she is a Bruxa, a rare vampire, that must be killed at all cost. Really good, looked good, sounded good, felt legit. Enjoy and check out the netflix show too. ITs pretty good.

Netflix The Witcher is finally out and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised.

I've played CD Projekt Reds adaptation of The Witcher and read the books by Andrzej Sapkowski which this serie is mostly based on. I've had my share of doubts and fears when Netflix released the trailers for the show but that doubt disappeard after the two first episodes.

A lot of people are comparing The Witcher with Game of Thrones and that's something they should try to avoid. Game of Thrones is Game of Thrones and nothing will ever be like it and The Witcher isn't Game of Thrones nor should it try to be it. The Witcher is it's own creation that's trying to fill the emptiness Game of Thrones left behind it when the show ended.

It is a good first season, the storytelling might be a bit fast paced for those who knows nothing about the world it is set in.

I have high hopes for the upcoming seasons and I can't wait.
