Simple, light comedy, with toilet humour, sex jokes and filthy laughs! You end up loving the. character and her hapless boyfriend. You find yourself rooting for them both. I can't wait to see what's next for them, great comic timing and chemistry from them when they are in scenes together.
The ex is also hilarious! I'd love more set pieces with Connor, Tracey, and the ex! The actress/writer is clearly talented throwing herself unashamedly into physical slapstick situations. You have to laugh out loud during the opening recap when Connor is shoved into nearby grundon esq bins!
I've reached episode 5 already, and I would recommend it as totally relaxing, uncomplicated and funny viewing. I would love another series.
More please!

This story is humorous and pleasing. For people who comment and believe that this show is black stereotypes, no...it isn't. It's about issues of about religious persecution and how that effect our society today. It's about relationships and just trying to have an open mind during the most life changing moment in your life. I hate in black shows everything is always a stereotype, so if Tracy was into black guys and was just like her friend then it would be normal? No, it would still be about stereotypes. Tracy is a girl whose finally discovering herself in a time that you should have. Just because the actress is black doesn't change the issue. Dang it's like people can't become satisfy unless they stereotype every show with a black face in it.
I'm watching this again. I wish she would make more. It's funny and crude I love it. 😊
This programme fell quite literally out of the blue. I had just finished watching Dirk Gently's and found myself at a loose end... Then I clicked on a recommended programme link and my fate was sealed...
What followed was tears, OMGs, sheer blinckages, head shakes, WTFs and then unadulterated love... The cast, the setting, the background and more than anything, the sheer balls to the wall, all out storytelling.... Frack me, I'm at a loss for words...

This show could have been ruined by a heavy hand on the Director's controls, but it perfectly threads the gap between a bleak-and-gritty portrayal of London's working class (which it is not) and a zany, Poly Anna Utopia where's everything's perfect and nothing is permanent (which it also is not.) The lead actress, creator, and writer, Michaela Coel, is also spot on, ticking all the right boxes of "Hot," "Cute," "Silly," "Vulnerable," and -- yes -- even a deep-seated "Intelligent" with her character. She reminds of classic comediennes like Lucille Ball and pre-political-insanity Jenny McCarthy. I hope Netflix gives several more seasons.
