That user's review is what got me to actually take the time out to watch the show, I wanted to see if what he said actually held weight. The show isn't bad at all, has a decent plot line and nice messages for the audience. It's obviously not mainstream, but overall it's still solid.
Feel free to give the show a chance, don't let @designfxsa's review turn you away, if you take a look at his profile it seems like he gives every show/movie a bad review.

Vindication is a unique crime drama, that centers around Detective Travis as he interviews the suspects and witnesses, exploring how it might have happened, and it is up to Detective Travis to discern the truth. The first season introduces the characters and the format of the show, and as the season progresses we get a deeper glimpse into Travis's personal and home life.
The episodes cover a variety of topics, with a different slant than your typical crime shows. I like how it keeps you guessing, because you only have access to the information that Travis does, so the answers aren't clear cut and sometimes he is wrong and has to backtrack.
Each of the episodes is half and hour, and does a great job with though provoking plots, with compelling teachable moments. The show is well done, directed more towards adults and older teens, with a variety of crimes presented realistically without all the explicit details, but in a ways that can be a great conversation starter about tough topics like sexting, emotional affairs, money, marriage, drug addiction, and PTSD. One of my favorite characters is Travis's wife, who is a firm Christian who lives what she believes.
A unique crime drama with family values and teachable moments, definitely worth checking out!

Todd Terry stars in this police drama which has just enough police situations and
just enough religion to satisfy both genres. This is now being shown on TCT and
who knows they may order more episodes if it clicks with that audience.
Old fashioned detective Terry has the usual family problems with wife and teenage daughter. He seems surrounded by females and he's also showing the ropes as a training officer to a new female detective. I did have a chuckle when interviewing a witness he takes out his notepad and she her tablet. I feel for you, I can't get the hang of those things either.
The series is hardly likely to make prime time though.

A lot of shows I watch, I only half watch, half listen; they're essentially background noise while I do stuff on my phone or laundry. This show I actually give it my full attention,I want to hear what each character says and see what's happening as it's happening. I had to do something on my phone during an episode, thought I could leave show running, had to rewind because the little I missed, I wanted it.
I am pleasantly surprised by this series in every way possible. Good writing, quality acting, solid camera work, great storyline, and an added bonus, they hired an experienced sound engineer (it's a running joke at our house how Christian productions all seem to hire the same incompetent sound engineer). Sincerely hoping for and looking forward to additional seasons.
