Almost Genius

I'm sure the hosts are nice people but they are not funny at all Hosts are not needed. Painful to watch. Also aprox 30% of their video clips are used from tru TV's cancelled shows, ie WD and other shows from other networks. I think this show is cancelled, hope so Bring back new WD's. Leave it to some b__hole at the network to fix something that's not broken

This show just fails at what it should be doing. The idea of the show is a good one but they technically speaking can't pull it off right. It just seems cheap and like everything is happening in an unprepared way, like nobody is really sure what they are or should be doing. Add to that some tragically unfunny talent on the show (whoever cast this thing needs to not ever cast a show again)... and you've got a very, very bad show. It is occasionally funny but not in the intended way if you catch my meaning. They should retool and try again maybe.

AFV: dollar store edition. Not funny, completely dreadful, writing is lazy unoriginal and just not funny, and the people doing the skits act like they have no professional acting experience (since they probably don't).

Scratch that, it's not almost unwatchable it is 100% unwatchable. This show basically recycles the same silly YouTube clips every other similar show has already used and used better. What I don't understand is how they can use clips that other shows even on the same channel have used but still have the worst jokes to go along with them. The comedians and hosts they use are dumb as bricks and can't think of a single funny thing to say. It doesn't even look good, with just basic green screen and editing software. I can't say enough about how bad this show is. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out it was actually a home video project made by a high school A/V club.

Almost genius is another one of those Trutv shows that looks like it easily could of come off of YouTube. And just like those shows Almost Genius is really dumb and unfunny. Basically the show is either just showing a clip you could've just easily found on the internet or they might even mess with the clip using basic editing and a lack of wit. It's basically if =3 got $15 added to the shows budget. It's mediocre at best and cringe worthy at worst. It truly is one of the worst shows ever. But don't just don't take my word for it, if you're really curious just watch the show for yourself. I must warn you though, it will rot your brain!
