What amazed me is how the script writer and director have packed a perfect story in just 98 minutes of screen time. You rarely get this in Indian cinema. The performances by the newbies does full justice to the story, cinematography is excellent with aerial shots of many places in Karnataka. Picturization inside Chitradurga Fort is noteworthy. Musics blends well with the subject of the movie. The movie is narrated so well that I could not notice the climax, it is as if you are living one of the character in the movie.
Good to see movies like RangiTaranga, KendaSampige being tried in Kannada cinema. Waiting to see more such flicks.

Excellent movie. Don't want to reveal the plot but it sticks true to definition of thriller packed within 100 minutes. Appreciate the acting of lead pair of Manvita and Vicky. Excellent performances from Prakash and Rajesh. Cinematography by Satya Hegde is excellent (Sure should be nominated for major awards). BGM by Harikrishna keeps the mood of the movie. Screenplay by Surendranath, Suri and Rajesh are outstanding. Finally Suri, you are an ace director man. It takes conviction to invest and direct these kind of movies. There is no formula or heroism in the film but it is excellent. Have been watching the combination of you and Satya Hegde, you people rock. Excellent in all aspects.
9/10..Brilliant direction, suspenseful thriller story, throughout engaging plot, natural acting, realistic screenplay, smart camera-work, fantastic background score, beautiful songs with classic lyrics...it has all the ingredients of an awesome cult movie. Lead newbie actress Manvitha surely has a bright career. Helplessness of common people amongst good and bad policemen is portrayed nicely. Aerial and time-lapse shots of Karnataka cities and highways are hallmarks in the narration . At the end, Hollywoodish style closing credits was the beauty, making you crave for the sequel Part 2, in fact prequel Part 1 - Kaage Bangara in 2016. Please don't miss and watch in theaters only.
What stands out in the movie is CLASSY cinematography, hats off to Sathya Hegde and a gripping screenplay by S.Surendranath-Rajesh Nataranga-Suri trio. Though story (written by S. Surendranath) looks simple, its screenplay that makes the movie an edge of the seat thriller. They'd made use of drone shots exceptionally well to showcase some of the beautiful city locations across Karnataka and it gives the audience a very new experience and it is first of it's kind in Kannada cinemas (if am correct). Topnotch filmmaking by Suri and easily this is his best direction so far. Had he handled the suspense(twist) plots perfectly towards the end, it'd have been even more exciting. He's somehow failed in that aspect. That's the only major drawback I could find out in the movie. New lead pair Vicky-Manvitha have acted reasonably well especially Manvitha. Not only she's cute looks, but also sweet voice. Rajesh Nataranga is at his best. Prakash Belavadi, Chandrika and Prashanth Siddi (hope he will rock in part l Kaage Bangaara) have done justices to their respective roles. Background score and music by V. Harikrishna are engaging. Thanks to Deepu S. Kumar for his sharp editing (film's total length is 98 min). Finally the film makes us curious enough to wait eagerly for it's prequel 'Kaage Bangaara'. Congrats to Suri and team for delivering us a remarkable film :)

I loved watching this movie.. Many thrillers there will be too may scenes which are too much of a coincidence. But here it was not like that , it was very natural. Well the actors did a great job. I love the fact that the simple lead actor(male) has shown his simplicity throughout in action , expression everything. Also the usage of language (Kannada) is very natural, many movies there will be too many artificial (bookish) words used for strong dialog. But here local slang is used very aptly. Also there is not too much drama involved. My most favorite part is there are no dreamy songs. The songs give a good meaning and are apt for the scenes. Many Indian films are full of dreams romantic songs which personally I do not like.
