Gujjubhai the Great

I have been an ardent fan of Gujjubhai since I watched "Lage Raho Gujjubhai" (the natak) 5 years ago. I have tried to watch his plays whenever I get time. When I came to know that this movie is currently in a multiplex near me, and that too only one show at 3:00 PM, I took a leave from office and went and saw the movie!

Believe me, I was not disappointed at all. Had a laughter riot in the hall. Great work by Bakul & Hasubhai. Great actors both of them. With their entry in bollywood, sky is the limit!

I hope we get to see more such mainstream Gujarati movies in the future!

I would give this movie 100stars, these are the types of movies you want to watch after a long day.

Gujjubhai rocks as always. He has played an amazing role of Hasmukhbhai and his acts , words and his witty jokes made us laugh like crazy. He is as brilliant as his role. The direction and the plot is brilliant, I am sure his son is gonna get a great career ahead in direction. The movie is similar to many Indian movies but in Gujju style it rocks. Gujarati family and Punjabi chatka its brilliant . Dipna is simply awesome. she has acted her best in the movie i guess, she is perfect at her dialogue and her acting. Wish her the best ahead in the industry.

overall its a wow movie that makes you laugh a lot and makes you out of stress go with the family and enjoy it!

Devendra N. Patel's made really good attempt to step ahead overcome myths of Guajrati Films.

Jimit Trivedi as Bakul performed really great!! What an Innocent character...!

Swati Shah as Premila Gandhi, A quite different character as compare to one in Saath Nibhana Saathiya.

I gave 9 out of 10 due to absence of strong female lead. Dipna Patel was not given enough visibility. She could do better.

I strongly recommend this to all my Gujju friends.

I am expecting a lot of such releases from Gujarati film industry.

I couldn't stop my self laughing any single moment. Really jaw-paining comedy. I wish Sidharth Randeria can get fame at not only national level but also international level. The movie should also get released at Bollywood level (with Hindi version). So that people can see potential of Sidharth Randeria. Very creative situational comedy and spontaneous screenplay is brilliant. Through out the movie you can not stop your self laughing. Believe me, I was not disappointed at all.
