    Poundland Guy Ritchie Parody.

This film was dire and a bit of a headache. I thought it was a parody of lock stock and two smoking barrels, without the acting chops and good looks of guys like Jason Statham or Vinnie Jones.

Spatterings of Try hard violence comes off as boring or comedic and fake, it does not convince, the cast is not edgy enough, they don't give me the grit and drama I have come to love about this genre. The 18 rating is far-fetched, arguably not enough drugs, sex or violence, very tame for this rating. War Of The Worlds was a genuinely scary 12 rating, and I'm 31. Something has gone wrong with the rating anywho.

The acting ability is that of a wet cardboard box that was 'supposed to deliver the goods' delivered only disappointment as the bottom of the soggy box falls out and spills my product everywhere except where I was going to put it. These people are like Eton boys and have never faced a single day of hardship in their lives, the type of person to invest in a heated toilet seat and open a bag of Walkers crisps with scissors. Who is taking this seriously? Not me.

The music choices do not fit with the mood or the scenes and come off as personal choice such as punk and death metal?! The whole thing feels amatuer. It's missing REAL working class acting, these guys give the impression of being posh and pampered nancies who stumbled across Hot Topic one day and thought it would be "cool" to do a London Gangsta type film. While I do believe it was a "noble effort" - as in guy could be bothered to try and piece together - something...- the effort was in vain. I lost interest quite quickly, I stayed the course so I can review but honestly I want my time back. There's a lot to learn, frankly I think I could have done a better job, either as director, main actor or both.

Final verdict - Ronnie and Reggie Kray would be rolling in their graves if they watched this film. It brings dishonour to the genre.

    2 hours wasted

A 'London Gangster' film made by someone whose only experience of the UK appears to be watching Guy Ritchie movies whilst drunk.

Accents were, fore the most part, so uncovincing that they would make Dick Van Dyke blush. Half the time the cast didn't know if they were from London, Yorkshire or Australia.

Outdoor shots flipped to give the appearance of RHD vehicles driving on the left, but blindingly obviously all filmed in the US and lazy closeups leave reversed bumper stickers etc giving the game away.

The whole thing was clearly made on a budget that, had the cast been actually English, wouldn't have covered an evening's bar tab.
