Prisoners of War

Rape has become a taboo subject for depiction in Adult videos; I cannot recall a single film or video in the last 20 years dealing with the topic, once a routine matter in '70s films, both porn and mainstream. Nica Noelle's WW II drama PRISONERS OF WAR (spelled Prisoner on the DVD cover and other materials, but appropriately Prisoners on screen) deals directly with the matter, showing a soldier raped in each of four separate XXX vignettes.

Perhaps the most conventional of these features Nica's regular actor Rob Yaeger, ordinarily cast as Mr. Nice Guy, as an evil Nazi officer seeking info from Yank POW Brandon Wilde. He ruthlessly rapes the youngster, and regarding the divulging of intel he snarls "Take your time, I'm enjoying this". In an odd way it was refreshing to see a harking back to the stereotypical depiction of Nazi baddies dating back to the WW II propaganda films of Hollywood. Brandon eventually spills the beans, but the humping continues.

A stranger episode has burly Tommy Defendi as a prisoner, with Private Harris (Ludo Sander) tossed into his cell. When Tommy says: "I haven't been with a dame for a long time", Ludo responds "I ain't no dame". To this, Tommy responds: "If I close my eyes, it's close enough" and proceeds to rape the boy. Ludo does a good job of evoking pain and protest at the act, but this being porn, eventually goes along with the pleasure of it all.

Opening segment is set in 1943 in Boot Camp, with mean Billy Santoro manhandling young Colt Rivers, and Colt becoming an active participant in the sex after initially being forced to participate.

Remaining vignette has Ty Roderick as prisoner guarded by German soldier Liam Harkmoore (Yaeger is present briefly as Liam's superior). Liam mocks Ty as "Captain America", but the prisoner gets the upper hand, stating "You're gonna do what Captain America tells you" and rapes the German. Soon Liam is getting into it, lapsing into porn-speak (in English) of "Oh, yes! Oh, yes!".

Clocking at a concise 82 minutes (Nica's previous boy/girl and girl/girl efforts tended to run well in excess of 2 hours apiece), PRISONERS passes muster as an unusual version of gay sex, its 21st Century omnipresent condoms distancing the action from its period setting.
