Sex Doll

This is a deep movie. Dialogs are deep, short, concise and full of hidden and suppressed emotion and scars. Keep that in mind. The title is suggestive, so many of you thought there are going to be many sex scenes. That's why there are so many low grades.

Not sure why this is scoring low. Really good film.

I just wanted to add that the movie itself was slow-moving but well thought out and an engaging movie and the reason it initially got low reviews is because for some reason some people who watch the movie assume that it will be pornography why I don't know but that seems to be the case

The performances by the lead actress and actor are spot-on. Unfortunately, the storyline doesn't shine alongside them. Perhaps I didn't expect much in terms of acting from this film, but I immediately went to see what else these two were in because of how impressed I was. I never really figured out who "ash" was working for. There were storylines that they could and should have expanded on, but didn't. Overall, due to the phenomenal acting, I gave this an 8/10 rating. I never lost interest in the slightest, and the acting deserves it.

but without the gloomy ending of the Shakespeare play. The movie was actually quite a pleasant surprise after I discovered the low rating it had received on IMDb. The dialogue is muted and low-key for the most part, but has a certain touch of authenticity to it. The story follows a number of french-speaking twenty-somethings living in London, with the female lead working secretly as an upscale escort. On a night out with her girlfriend, she meets a tattooed guy that says he might give them a lift home. Later on this strange chap begins to suddenly pop up out of nowhere wherever she finds herself.

The movie is written and directed by the up and coming young French director and actress Sylvie Verheyde.
