    Another beautiful experience in KFI

He smiles - you smile, He talks - you laugh and he narrates a beautiful story - you carefully listen to it & shed tears later! Such was Anant Nag's character and performance <3 My expectations were sky high and I was nowhere disappointed! Wow! Anant Nag sir finally gets a role he deserved and I don't mind watching Venkob Rao all day :D The movie kick starts right away from the opening credits with an amazing track(Ranga bhoomiye) & visuals and goes with a perfect pace till the Interval! Would easily give 5/5 for 1st half. Even a subtle way of narration gave me goosebumps at many places! That's an art for sure. 2nd half gets kinda repetitive and little dragged but has an amazing sequence to look forward to , which made me cry! Probably one of the best scenes I've ever watched! And it was not even a sad story! Love it when happy things can make you cry. Have concerns about few plot points but when the movie & characters are so beautiful, it's very difficult to complain!

Movie offered me more than what I expected, I went to watch my darling Anant and there was an equally brilliant character 'Ranga' and Vasishta portrayed it perfectly! En kadak voice guru! He's a brilliant actor to look forward to! And then there's Achyuth Rao who never disappoints! About Rakshit I don't have much complaints - his character pisses you off and also makes us feel for him & understand his situation so we can safely say that he did a good job! Sruthi was apt! Their relationship & the journey was shown in a very interesting way and watch out for the ending! :) Although I wish the spotlight should have been on 'GBSM' in the last shot!

Music was one more wow factor of GBSM. Sadly I couldn't appreciate it much before the movie but listening to it with the visuals was the best experience! And I loved most of the songs! Charan does an amazing job even in BGM!

Hemanth is an extremely talented story-teller. He establishes so many themes and conveys it very well! His writing is nearly flawless and he also tries to surprise you at many places even in a drama! Liked the subplot of vasishta which was handled very well. The dialogues especially deserves more credit! Because it wasn't over the top or too Kanglishy or too random or forceful. It's just neat, sensible and perfect! I'm a fan already! Keep going brother :D

Thanks Hemanth, Pushkar and team for giving such a gem to cherish <3 Watch it for Sri Sir Anantnag ji, Vasishta & mainly for the beautiful experience! :)

A Kannada movie which gives you a beautiful experience

Beautiful heart touching story.. Each character has its essence and all the actors have played the role in a way that connects to the audience instantly .. Ananth Nag is extraordinary and nobody would have essayed this role better than him.. Rakshit Shetty is again doing brilliant justice to his role.. Vasishta N. Simha hogs the limelight with his remarkable performance .. Achyuth Kumar is again a brilliant actor.. Sruthi Hariharan is a perfect female lead for the film.. Ravikiran Rajendran is equally good Overall the movie makes you think back home as to how neatly, subtly it has been done.. Kudos to Hemant Rao ! The intense sentiments of father and son is very well showcased and bringing tears to someone's eyes through emotions is not easy and the movie absolutely mesmerizes you and makes you retrospect a lot of what you need to value

In the last 15 years, I haven't come across such an exceptional script. !! exceptional acting by Ananth nag sir and others

Hemanth M.Rao's Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu takes you and your consciousness to a whole new journey . Carries a Good Message for those Children who stay away from their Parents during their old-Age.Watching this made me realize the value of family. Back Ground Music, Camera work, Lyrics are the highlights. Simple story, well presented.

If u don't watch this, u are missing something great.

Talking about performances Ananth Nag looks at his usual best depicting the role of an Alzheimer patient. Rakshit Shetty also looks convincing playing his son. All the other supporting actors of the movie seem to justify their characters .

    Good times for regional cinema!!

What an apt time to be watching GBSM after the release of another exceptional movie thithi in the same language. Augurs well for the future!! Well the trailer was pleasing and the movie is brilliant. You cannot imagine that its a debutant director calling the shots and convincing today's audience to stay invested for close to 2.5 hours in watching a son's "discovery" of his lost father. Its brutally honest to the core as you see Shiva- a middle class blue collar employee trying to move up the corporate ladder being insensitive to his father poignantly portrayed by Anant nag who has Alzheimer's. As the dad goes missing due to sheer negligence he shouts to destroy the doctor and the NGO taking care of him. What follows is a search within and without as he says in a beautiful scene "it seems my dad has Alzheimer but i am the one who has loss of memory". Don't get me wrong, this movie is nothing cliché as we are genuinely moved the search moves along with few flashbacks of a normal city brahmin family. It would still have been a good family drama just with this but what makes this flick outstanding is the intertwined crime drama involving corruption and murder. There's brilliant editing and execution and not once it feels contrived and unreal. The director gives depth to all its characters and even the thugs come across as genuine. Its not all hunky dory though as you hear too loud background songs which are out of sync with the narrative in the first half, the movie could be shorter by 15 min and the actions of the doctor are little hard to believe. But these are minor blemishes in an otherwise flawless venture which is sure to make your heart heavy and eyes wet at the same time with a smile on your face. Kudos to the brilliant acting by everybody this film is a winner.!

    A Classic

Every aspect of movie is new and aspiring. If anyone wants a break and have refreshing experience amidst same old romantic-drama-action-comedy formula movies, this movie is for you. Movies are a way of story-telling, a story can be very simple but the way its told matters and here is a movie which goes deeper than that touching your soul. Unforgettable characters, dialogues, relationship-quotients, emotions and songs. Mesmerizing performances by all especially by Ananth Nag Sir. Its magical how all the things have come together in movie making. It was a delight to watch this movie. Watch it because you never know whether this kind of movie will be ever made again.
