    Monotonous

Despite twists and turns and red herrings, this is a boring movie. Everyone speaks in a monotone. Unbelievable and implausible.

    Skip it.

    Don't waste your time

Average Lifetime movie flick. Poor quality, obvious plot, and creepy, but not in a good way.

Woman is basically torn between two lovers. She has had a relationship with both, but now she is married to guy number 2. He is very good looking, but has a mysterious past.

No spoilers here. The husband is creepy, and no advanced forensic degree is needed to figure out whodunit.

    Too Much Wrong Here

There are so many things not right with this film.

Perhaps I am being a bit pedantic here, but as a forensic scientist is she not supposed to be wearing protective coverings head to toe ? For fear of contamination of the crime scene ! And yet she was very happy to put on a lab coat the second she entered the lab !

But then I suppose when its all about how you look , then these trivial matters don't apply !

And all the personal stuff going on between all of them was dragged out for way too long , when it should have been focusing on the murders .

Not convincing for me ,I lost interest, but saw it through to the end anyway.

It did have potential , but was spoiled by poor detective work , and a fairly predicable end .

Watchable , but not great .

OK I will admit it....I did not identify the right serial killer

99 out of 100 times I can usually predict within the first 30 minutes of this type of made for TV murder mystery who the (serial) killer is, but admittingly I picked the wrong serial killer. It seemed quite obvious (at least to me it did) who was responsible for the string of murders taking place right under the police departments nose. Renee Murphy (Andrea Roth) is the Supervisor forensic investigator for a local police department who has developed a superior reputation in her crime solving laboratory to crack murder cases.

When one of her fellow detectives is subsequently found murdered there are a number of suspects from within her own police department that may or may not be the key suspect that is responsible for the recent string of what appear to be linked murders. Renee recently married a computer software success story named Jack Murphy (Woody Jeffreys) who was (past tense) best friends with a fellow mountain climber named Kyle Ferguson (Sebastian Spence). Kyle is a lead detective at the same precinct that Renee is a forensic investigator for and the two used to date but it just was not a serious relationship for Renee, although Renee and Kyle's daughter liked each other very much. Kyle lost his wife not too long ago who was also murdered and her killer is still unknown. So Kyle buries himself in his work and supporting his teenage daughter even though it irritates him to see his former best friend Jack Murphy and his former girlfriend Renee now married.

This made for TV thriller has a few twists and turns some of which are predictable and some twists and turns not so predictable. I will admit that the ending was better than most made for TV thrillers so I give the film a decent 6 out of 10 rating.

    Not worth it

The story line could have been good but this movie was clearly written by someone who has absolutely no knowledge of forensics or police procedure. The over use of a magnifying glass and using a flashlight with the lights on? seriously? It was too predictable and the secondary characters were not developed enough. The camera direction/cinematography was actually the best part of this movie. I like a lot of the Lifetime crime drama movies, but not this one!
