The movie includes moments that young people like me we do live and are going through at the moment of our age, and it is good to know and realize the situation you're in, that's one subject of many this movie will teach you. From the beginning the movie is catching your attention, the production, writing, choreography, actors, image, sounds and so on are great! Due to certain situations we often avoid some opportunities that arise in our lives. I really like the main question in this movie: Who are you>!? ..and what defines you as a personality. Finding myself in some states like those described in the idea of this movie, and knowing that some friends are in the same state, I had the pleasure to recommend after watching it, because we all are looking for answers and it is very good to have the correct resources to our questions that are bothering us. Very well chosen subjects and questions, the message comes very easy to understand even if you know nothing at all about MMA fighting, it is a movie for all hearts.
If you are not a Christian, you will hate this.
If you are a Christian (like myself), you will still probably hate this.
"The Fight Within" is a Christian MMA movie. Yes, you read that right. Christian + MMA. My party consisted of the only people in the theater when I went to see this movie, and I just knew that this was going to be awful. So far, this is the only movie I have given a 1/10 stars, and here's why.
I enjoy movies with a religious message, but come on. The main character goes from "Gaaaaah, I hate God and I'm edgy" to "God is awesome and I'm going to forgive people but nevermind I'm going to beat this dude up" after two dates or so with this girl whose character is as flat as the Greeks' idea of the shape of the world.
2. The storyline tried to combine these different ideas that, quite simply, don't work together.
3. There was a five minute-long montage of the main character, his love interest, and all her random friends you never hear from again frolicking at a lake, and I just couldn't handle another second of it.
4. The worst part of the movie for me was the acting. I just couldn't believe the actors as their characters. The lines sounded recited rather than acted, but at least they tried.
Overall, maybe the worst movie I've ever seen. Yep, 1/10.

There are reasons for the rating of a 9! First, the Message. Hell fire and brimstone does not appeal to the masses. But out of a spirit of love much work for the Kingdom can be done. As this is the case here. No tricks no scare tactics just offering an example of how to be a witness to those who are searching. Remember a movie can only tell part of a story. I believe The Fight Within is a great testimony of the circumstances that we all face. Our daily struggle of inconsistency etc. I believe that this movie could and should capture the attention of all youth groups whether it be church groups clubs sports teams dance teams etc. is it gonna knock your socks off with action? No, but it gives you that! could something spoken in the lines of this movie cause a change in someone's life, heart, spirit, mind? I truly think so! ATTENTION ALL YOUTH LEADERS...show this movie to your youth!
Personally. I was done with "Rocky" movies after the famous one. There have been many Rocky pictures, in all sorts of sports and competitions. Once this one went the exceedingly predictable route, the film was sunk. In many of these overtly Christian themed pictures. the lead actors give very good performances. John Major Davis is excellent, his facial expressions conveying his various moods and feelings well. Matt Leddo gives a strong performance in an otherwise stereotyped role. For all the BIBLE talk, however, this move hypocritically fails to turn the other cheek.
I started watching this film, and I couldn't believe it, that it was a born again Christian movie . Right threw the movie there was reference about God. It was far from a action movie. As if you need to get life coaching from a movie, show me violence and corruption, It's only a movie people, you need to be entertained, not fall asleep. And at the end of the movie he says my god is in my corner, well I thought he was everyone's god. In the storyline they should have mentioned that it had Christian references, and watcher beware. Hey I'm not a hater of someone's beliefs Just don't go putting it through a movie that's supposed to be about MMA Not finding God, how can you find God if not lost .....
