The Film was made in 1973 but did not pass the Indian censorship board due to the Taboo Subject of the movie, so was banned from being released. The completed film was temporary canned until 1987 when the Film was reviewed again by the censorship board with a pass. The Restored film was again certified by the Indian censorship board in 2019. After almost half a decade the film was able to be seen in the public.
