Serial Thriller

The voice track doesn't even follow most of the time. Wtf?

The main character looks & behaves nothing like real killers. Zero appeal to make a person think he could have mislead unsuspecting young victims. He looks like a short long haired out of wrk actor or maybe a grad student. Hard to watch regardless of being written fairly factual, waste of time pointless to watch all the way through.

Would have been tolerable, but the actor cast as Ted Bundy was the biggest mistake ever. Not a bad actor, just not believable for this part.

During Bob Keppel's final interview of Bundy, they are in a Florida Federal prison and their breath is showing. I know it gets chilly at night in Florida in some areas, but this looked very cold! I bet if the actors' breath was showing, the crew must have been freezing their butts off! As far as the story line goes, I thought there was too much skipping around from event to event. Also, the actor chosen to play Ted was horrible, IMO; he didn't have nearly enough charisma to charm the women which he killed. Also, set design was horrible. I knew it wasn't filmed in Hollywood from the drabness of the sets. Having been to England (and loved the place) I could tell it had the "British touch." For instance, the exterior view of Bundy's place when the detectives are watching him. It's too much like a "row house."

This is a 3 part television series about a serial killer, operating mostly in the Northwest. There is a real attempt to create tension, mostly by not naming the killer until about half way through the series. The camera work is solid and there is a good sense of place. The lead detective is quiet and intense and reminds me of William Hurt. Unfortunately, nothing new is discovered about this very famous case, so it ends up being a bit humdrum. Also, the actor playing the killer is poorly cast, and bears no resemblance to the familiar real life killer - he is also a real ham, popping his eyes and tossing his hair all of the time.
