I love it! Great documentary about civil war in Yugoslavia.

I love it! Great documentary about civil war in Yugoslavia. If you want to find out what happened in Balkans during the 90ties you must see this. Also the historical background which puts the hole story in the context. The point is that people were mislead and the rulers of Balkan countries were doing this only for the money. people were fighting and rulers were getting richer and richer. And they were fighting on the field and in front of camera but in private they were making deals. It is full of new informations and explanations, tells us who and why started the war and what we can expect in the future. Also great sense of humor. Great job Mr Malagurski!

political and economical perception and call for protests

This is call for protests and conspiracy theory against United States, and economical and political perception of all problems like wars, poverty... This made more clear 1st sequel by admitting that it is just that, and by saying opposite of what I said, that protests are good and recommended, and not dangerous. I hate topic because I don't understand nor like politics or economy and it is tiring and complicated and boring. Also it looks one sided perception or belief. Also I find it impractical. Few good and funny footages, people, truths...but overall very time consuming. Just makes us think bit more and bit differently about everything, especially protests.

Not sure why this movie has high ratings despite of negative comments? READ ME!

Not sure why this movie has high ratings despite of negative comments; I am giving it a 1 because the narrator's voice is too obnoxious and his snarky attitude is the least bit flattering to even attempt to sit through a "serious" documentary for two and a half hours. Although it deemed to have good points I was interested in hearing, such as on economy and the overall involvement from the west, the movie is blatantly biased. Even though his overall "thesis" was to present the fall of Yugoslavia, he clearly has his topics mixed up when he switches gears and ultimately tried to "debunk" the Serbian involvement and proclaim innocence in the wars. Thank you Malagurski for teaching us the things we should have known (sarcasm implied), should have stuck to economy and not downplayed the Chetnik atrocities during the war!
