A Horse from Heaven

A Champion Heart is an often predictable movie like so many animal based movies are. It does however have a good message and is a sweet family film. I was watching this while babysitting and my nephew actually put down his toys and started watching it with me. We both enjoyed it.

Apparently this is a Christian movie, I had no idea till I came here to IMDb it never preachers to the viewer and as an atheist I respect that.

If you ride horses, you would know how terrible this movie is. The acting is awkward, the riding and equitation is absolutely terrible. I used this movie as a way to practice being a trainer because every time they rode, there was so many things to critique. Even the girl who had supposedly ridden her entire life had very little skill. I would not recommend watching.

I can't even explain how much I loved this movie. At one point everyone was crying, and two seconds later, everyone was laughing! The acting was incredible, and the script was so well written. Perfect choice of characters, scenery and much much more. Though I absolutely hate the genre the director picked, it was the best movie I've ever seen. I could watch this a billion times, and still not get bored of it.

This is perfect for the Disney channel. Beautiful Horses, some great scenery, perfect lighting, good acting, good lessons, balanced male - female energy, fantastic real colors on my Plasma TV. My Xbox handled this YouTube movie without any problems. Devan Key was brilliant in this well grounded, safe family movie & what a perfect role. If this movie goes to Disney, I'll sign up. Congratulations!

This movie is a true treat and just what I needed to see this evening. Watched on Netflix with my whole family and we all had beaming smiles at the end. A warm, family friendly feel good movie about hope and healing - something we're all in need of at this time.
