I look forward to this show every Saturday night. Kat provides the millennial point of view on the political news of the week. Tyrus, who I guess was a pro wrestler, does an amazing job considering his limited experience on talk shows. There is always a couple interchangeable guests on every week who are smartalecs, but I enjoy them Greg is brash but I enjoy listening to his side of things. The show is funny and entertaining and I hope Fox doesn't take it off the air. One of the best talk shows on TV and it doesn't take things too serious.
This show has been taking good/funny jabs at everyone in the 2016 election. From what I've seen, Trump, Cruz, Hillary, Bernie and others have all been fair game on this show. I wonder if the live audience is a bunch of drunk conservatives. The jokes that Joanne and Katherine make definitely make me feel like I'm at a bar talking politics (too bad I can't buy them drinks!!!)
I was ready for Gutfeld to give long rants against the left, but the show develops into a news/talk kind of vibe and sometimes it can get into very random topics -- definitely a different animal from other shows on Fox. Always refreshing to see jokes that aren't from the homogeneous pool of liberal comedians. Gutfeld does speak off a teleprompter for a little bit, and the written humor is a spawn of Red Eye. The show can have some low points here and there, but the election coverage is great.

What Greg Gutfeld does best is satire. Greg Gutfeld knows how to craft satirical jabs and jokes as he's discussing a serious political situation. This is because Gutfeld's show is one of the shows that manages to find humor in the serious situations that occur in everyday life. Of course, sometimes, he takes situations very seriously when necessary, but a lot of the time, he also finds a way to create brilliant humor in politics.
This is why people should watch his show--not just because what he is saying is correct, but Gutfeld manages to put a light-hearted and more comedic spin on it all.
Yes, the skits are bad, but that is the point. They're delivered tongue-in-cheek, and no one on the panel is allowed to take themselves too seriously. Compare to Colbert's cringeworthy song and dance propaganda numbers. It's nice to see a conservative voice in the late night sphere. I also really like the format, with four guests per night, and an entire stable of personalities to occupy the other seats.
What a waste of talent. I enjoyed Gutfeld on "Red Eye;" I enjoy watching him on "The Five" and think that he is the most reasoned and intelligent member of that cast. I have read and enjoyed several of his books.
This show was a stinker. I can only hope that Fox will shred this format and start over again, or just sink it completely and find something else for Gutfeld to do before his career crashes (again.) He is not helping Joanne Nosuchinsky's career either. She is clever and witty on Red Eye, and I suspect pretty bright since she seemed to do some of the writing for that show. She was attractive as always, but not shown to good advantage in this show. ------TIME PASSES------
The show has been on for awhile, and some changes have been made. I have raised my vote to a 5, because there have been improvements. The show still is incredibly uneven; the Liberal Panel is stupid and a poor imitation of the newspaper on Red Eye, mostly because Bill Schulz isn't behind it. Gutfeld needed more people on the show, but it still is, or appears to be, too scripted. Gutfeld has the dubious distinction of ruining two shows, Red Eye by leaving, and this show by arriving. Joanne, look for something more deserving of your talent. -------TIME PASSES--------
Okay, I have kept watching; more changes have been made to the format, and I have raised my vote to 7 (I would go for 7 ½, if I could.) There are more guests, sometimes too many, and not always used to good advantage, and the last few episodes have had a live audience. I think having that reaction might be helping. The show has improved a great deal, but there still is room for improvement, as with most things. Getting better all the time, and I am hopeful, even optimistic.
