It was a good day

Charming slice of life story of a group of 20 somethings just trying to get by and have a good time. The film doesn't shy away from the messiness of dating in NYC while showing us the reward of putting yourself out there and taking a chance. There are some issues I had with pacing and being a smaller independent feature there is minor audio issues, however nothing that ruined my immersion in the story. This is a good movie to put on, pour yourself an IPA and hang out with.

This was a very nice effort/result for a small scale production. It's also an interesting study of conversational minutia and relationships, under the setting of Halloween. 👍🏻

Solid Cast Performances

Good Day, is the first feature length film from Louie Cortes' New Needle Productions... and he starts with a bang.

Like 200 Cigarettes & Chasing Amy before it, Good Day oozes with 90s Miramax charm; due in LARGE PART to its' main cast of characters, a great group of indie actors who bring charm, wit, humor & heart to the film in droves.

You'll laugh, you'll feel bad, you'll feel mad, but one things for sure... you'll have a GOOD DAY watching this one.
