Less than average

A flat storyline, a lot of clichees and definitely, definitely not for children. Anyways, the animation and dub are not bad and the action ist kinda catching.

The Best Japan Lionsgate Dub English Film Yet

Honestly I watched this today and watching it the second time it was amazing Animation was Great and acting was so Strong and Winston Is very Funny for a villian Even YouTubers acting these characters are really Great even The songs like Miracle from Parker theory is Amazing is so catchy And Passed up is really great and good to listen too.

Best childhood movie

Felt like a fever dream, used to love all of the unique characters with different traits. Had a very convincing and badass villian who I still remember to this day. Their battle was very satisfying to watch when I was younger, and me and my friend used to talk about it for hours. I remember it being surprisingly dark for a children's movie, and personally this was my watership's down. The movie is well-paced and I never got bored watching it, as I'd rewatch it as much as I could. It fueled my imagination and it was just a fantastic, nostalgic movie, as most old 3D movies are. This movie basically helped shape my childhood in the best way possible, will always cherish those memories.

One of the better animated movies I have watched

Honestly this is actually not a bad movie. Considering this movie is made for children I actually found this movie just as entertainment because i didn't have a good day today.

The only thing wrong about this movie is some weasels might come across as scary for children but other then that it's safe.

Not bad

Considering this is clearly made for children, it's not bad,from a adults point of view.

The animation is good,the voice over is good. It has the usual cartoon stereotypes.But I guess that will make it more relatable for kids. The bad guys=The weasels might be considered over the top scary for some kids,though rest a sure there is no blood or gore in any of the scenes.

I won't say it was entertaining for me,cause like I stated it's made children,and the story is very predictable for an adult.So for the grown ups it might be considered boring.

The film is based on the 70s anime series Ganba no Boken (1975).

Alternate versions
There exists an alternate English dub to the film produced by SC Films International. The dub cast features Jack Merluzzi, Ryan Drees, Jeff Manning, Walter Roberts, Michael Rhys, Eric Kelso, Katie Adler, and Julia Yermakov. Unlike the US version this dub retains the original Japanese names and title. The only known availability this dub has is on the Swedish Blu-ray release.
