If I didn't know that this was an independently produced film, I would not have known this was an independently produced film. This is the second project by the awesome team at ii Films. The visual storytelling was well done and first rate, worthy of the big screen on which I saw this film.
The story line is captivating, and all to realistic in our culture today. In a world of broken families and relationships it is good to know that there is hope. This story of restoration and renewal is not a Pollyanna, "all they needed was to spend ten minutes in prayer and all will be well." This story is the real story of struggle and heartache and the scars that run deep in a child's life.
The two main characters were portrayed by Dariush Moslemi and Anna Stranz, who I'll be honest, I never heard of but their portrayal was compelling. It did amazing justice to the story and I know I will see them again!
I so enjoyed this movie and I can't wait to take others to see it with me.

This independent Christian film had a good story with a theme of forgiveness that is relevant to all viewers. The ending that was very touching, and really completed the story and character arcs. The cinematography, editing, sound design, and music were very well done, and the performances by the leading characters were strong.
I've found that when deciding to watch a movie, it's best not to look at reviews because for reasons that often times have nothing to do with the film, a film will get a bad review that isn't warranted. I kind of feel this film could be included. Not knowing anything about the film (including that its a 'christian' film) until after when I came to the site to look up information on it, I thought this was a good independent film that hit all the right notes - I laughed, teared up, felt sentimental. The actor who played the dad (Dariush Moslemi) was great, there were several laugh out loud moments and his facial expressions were priceless. The daughter (Anna Stranz) was charming and sweet, really giving a good performance of being torn between being angry at her previously absent father and wanting to have a relationship with him. A really feel good movie about forgiveness and reconciliation.
When I chose this movie to watch, little did I know how much I would resonate with the story line. It is refreshing to see a good movie, done so well that reflects how God works in our lives
I agree with other reviewer's criticisms of this movie's contents. Beware pied-pipers who tickle the ears, say what some people want to hear, rather than saying what they truly need to hear most above all else in this universe, and thus, this movie leads people towards their own & others' eternal damnation. The movie's positive aspects are like sugar coating on spiritually toxic pills.
