One of the most interesting films I've seen all year!

It's an incredible film, really moving and really didn't end the way I thought it would, in a weird way it's almost a feel good film.

Really interesting writing and endearing acting, top notch work

A man paid the price for his action, but revenge follows

Over all I liked it. Film was a little slow in beginning, but the characters fell into place. I thought the cast did a good job.

    Interesting indie film

Cool indie movie shot in a scenic coastal town. Themes of loss and revenge and redemption.

    A smartly written story

Well measured performances alongside a gripping storyline with a smartly paced narrative keeps you on the edge of your seat

A nice change from typical revenge films

Ashes sets up the type of scenario that we're use to seeing in pretty most revenge films then it starts to play out differently as the story progresses towards the end. Great performances are given from all of the cast, some magnificent cinematic visuals are seen throughout the film, wonderful locations in England / Scotland fill up nicely in the frame, and a good combination of composed music / pre-recorded songs mix well into some of the film's sequences. Ashes was an overall excellent film to watch.
