BIGFOOT THE MOVIE starts off with three rural gents out for a night of beer-drinking fun, when suddenly, one of them is snatched by a hairy arm and reduced to ground chuck... er, Daryl.
The horror has only just begun.
This is a very funny movie! The main reason it works is because the characters are likeable, good-natured ding-a-lings, instead of insufferable a$$holes! Proof that low-budget films need not be terrible!
THIS MOVIE HAS: #1- A conspiracy / cover-up reaching to the highest levels of small town government! #2- The Amish mafia! #3- Creepy ninjas!

As far as low budget films go this one is way ahead in so many ways. The main characters are all likeable and by the end have became totally infectious. It was certainly chuckle-funny for the most part and although there were few laugh out loud jokes it was such a charming watch that I did not care one bit. As far as the humour not translating goes, well I'm from England and the only references I didn't recognise were sports related, everything else pretty much landed correctly. This could so easily have been the premise for a Tucker & Dale sequel and goes quite some way towards satisfying that craving even if it's at the level of a dry run for that. An amiable and entertaining dry run.
Acting was great - especially the 3 main jagoffs. The cinematography was well done. The bigfoot creation was real enough for this type of production (better than most). If you're looking for a serious bigfoot movie or riveting suspense, this isn't it. It's a hell of a good comedy, and even better if you're from Southwestern PA.
I really liked this movie. It heavily features a lifted 60s Ford pickup which steals the show. Is anything added to the film or storyline in doing this? Not really but I'm okay with the truck getting more screen time than the Bigfoot. The power hungry mayor was hilarious. His try hard approach to acting is commendable. Actually acting across the board was average in my estimation. The Bigfoot costume/suit wasn't half bad. For a b rate it's not bad. I am interested to see what Jared Show does in the future.
I've watched this a hundred times .. and I will watch it a million more .. and still laugh😁
