Bigfoot: The Movie

I thought it was a pretty good movie. It was funny and had entertaining actors and pretty decent writing.

So funny!!!! I can watch this over and over. I love each of the characters. The Bigfoot costume is out of this world. I got a chance to see it at the Oaks Theater and it was pretty awesome! Every time I watch it I find something new and funny that I missed before. I can't wait till the sound track comes out. I'm really hoping they make a sequel. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone but make sure you watch all the way through the credits.... I bought DVD's for my family. I'm really hoping they make more merchandise available! As far as low budget films go this one is way ahead in so many ways. The main characters are all likeable and by the end have became totally infectious. It was certainly chuckle-funny for the most part and although there were few laugh out loud jokes it was such a charming watch that I did not care one bit. As far as the humour not translating goes, well I'm from England and the only references I didn't recognise were sports related, everything else pretty much landed correctly. This could so easily have been the premise for a Tucker & Dale sequel and goes quite some way towards satisfying that craving even if it's at the level of a dry run for that. An amiable and entertaining dry run.

Acting was great - especially the 3 main jagoffs. The cinematography was well done. The bigfoot creation was real enough for this type of production (better than most). If you're looking for a serious bigfoot movie or riveting suspense, this isn't it. It's a hell of a good comedy, and even better if you're from Southwestern PA.
