In a time where Danmarks Radio was often criticized for being too Copenhagen-centric, two drama series about youth life in the provinces were commissioned in 1968 and 1969 respectively. By some strange incidence, the 1968 series "Hvorfor bli'r alting altid anderledes" was written by Kirsten Holst, while this 1969-series "Sæson for Liza" came to be written by her husband Knud Holst. A TV debut for actor Nis Bank-Mikkelsen.
