Tony Robinson goes round the uk on an walking adventure seeing the best of Britain's historic sites and brings humour and energy for what I would say is (simply wonderful)
I happened to click on this as an online viewing choice through amazon without ever having heard of it before. It was such a nice surprise to find this amazing and wonderful show. Sir Tony Robinson is immediately endearing. He interviews interesting and knowledgeable people along all of his journeys. The subject matter of all of the episodes I've seen so far left me one feeling much smarter for having spent my time watching. The scenery is incredible. I plan to binge watch the rest of the episodes and i know I will be sad when I get through them all.

Tony walks through the British isles while you put your feet up at home and enjoy tea over telly. Beautiful cinematography interspersed with bits of history to tie the walk together.
I discovered this series on YouTube but now can't get enough of it. Tony makes a great presenter bringing enthusiasm and humor to the experience. It makes you want to plan your next vacation by leaving the electronics at home, rolling up a few warm clothes in a backpack, donning some comfortable boots and going for a brisk hike in the country.
My favorite stories so far have been the walk through the Scottish Highlands and a stroll through Shakespeare's backyard. Next up are the Nazi's on the Channel Islands.
