Obnoxious brightly colored backdrop. Overly cheerful talent. They all seem over caffeinated. Mostly attractive but largely not charming drama school nerds. I went to a university with a large drama program, and drama majors just think everything they say is so funny and original and worthy of your attention. I have no doubt they are directed to behave this way, but the end product is almost abrasive. I would have rated even lower but Sharon, the lone non-millennial on air talent, has her moments.
Do you remember the Electric Company kids show from the 70s? It's kinda like that with food. Like an oddly sanitized, often needlessly shouty food review show.
